BioAppearance
Petite and standing only about two inches over five feet, this young woman has managed to retain some of the cuteness of youth. Her skin is naturally tanned, creating a contrast to her amber eyes, which are framed by long, thick lashes. Her black hair is straight, flowing to just past her shoulders and definitely well looked after. She has a little nose and slender lips that seem to match well with the cute point of her chin.
Her clothing betrays a definite sense of humour, though some might say a lack of taste. A red, yellow, and green floral pattern covers an oversized shirt, the sleeves of which are permanently rolled up to her elbows and the hem of which reaches mid-thigh. Trousers with a three-quarter leg are brown and made of a somewhat heavier material, while her feet are tucked into a pair of simple black shoes. A leather strand around her neck holds a tiny green stone bottle charm.
Sulisah is currently 18 turns, 7 months, 11 days old.
History
Sulisah was born in Fort Sea Hold to a fisher father and his seamstress wife. Followed by a virtual herd of siblings, it wasn't long before the girl was doing everything in her power to keep out of the way of the child-infestation. Her efforts led her to take refuge in the company of the hold vintner, where the often giggly girl took quickly to the craft. Her father gave no argument, once his first-born had proved herself, and the vintner taught the quick-learning Sulisah what he knew. Having begun young there was only so much the girl could learn, so at thirteen she officially apprenticed to the craft, and at eighteen she struck out on her own, leaving her parents and slew of siblings at the hold, and testing her luck at Fort Weyr.
Within a month of arriving at the Weyr her situation took a rather unexpected turn in the shape of T'rev's bronze Mecaith deciding she needed to become a candidate. Chores were not a worry for her, finding enough time to do everything and still sneak in some vintnering time was. She made some wonderful friends during that time, even developing a slight crush on one of the other candidates and a certain bronzerider, but hatching day saw her heading to the feast instead of the weyrling barracks.
Back to vintnering she's now looking towards her journeyman knot, and a bit of hanky waving along the way.
